Access to digital study modules, read online after signing in. Prices are shown in euro and include any tax due. Payment is taken by Stripe; card details are never seen or stored by us.
The modules are digital content supplied to you immediately. At checkout you give your express consent to that immediate supply and you acknowledge that, once access begins, you lose the 14-day right to cancel a distance contract. On that basis the right to cancel does not apply to your purchase — this is the position under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 (section 111(e)) for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium. We record that consent at checkout and confirm your order to you by email. Access is personal to you and is not transferable; each page you read carries the email address it was licensed to.
Separately from the cancellation position above, we offer a goodwill refund: if a module is not as described, or you cannot access what you paid for, email us and we will refund in full. This is our own policy and is in addition to — it does not limit — your statutory rights if digital content is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose under the Consumer Rights Act 2022. Refunds are returned by Stripe to the card used, and access ends when the refund is issued.
LawShortcut uses a subject-by-subject legal-content review focused on substantive accuracy, authority, Irish-law relevance and exam application. Law can change; verify the current position before relying on these notes. Even so, these are study materials, not legal advice, and the law changes. Nothing here creates a solicitor-client relationship, and no outcome in any examination is guaranteed.
The notes are original work and remain our property. Buying access gives you a personal licence to read them. Copying, sharing, reselling or republishing them is not permitted.
These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
