Scenario summary
Mr A and Mr B are travelling home aboard a tram. B, having eyed A's wallet, trails him off the tram, seizes him from behind and hauls him onto scrub land; during the struggle the wallet drops at the platform's edge. B shuts A inside a shack, though A eventually gets out through a skylight.
Mr C comes across the wallet — which holds A's driving licence, his bank and credit cards and a house key — and keeps it. A is left traumatised and is now having psychiatric treatment.
Candidates are asked to advise A on the claims in tort he can bring against B and against C.
