What LawShortcut is
LawShortcut publishes study notes and model answers for Irish law exams. The free notes cover the topics that come up most often across Contract, Constitutional, Criminal, Tort, Land, Family and the Irish Legal System. The paid material is organised by route — FE-1, King’s Inns BL Entrance, undergraduate and QLTT — because those four exams ask for different things from the same law.
Who writes it
The notes and model answers are written and edited by one person, publishing as Aoibheann Nic Eochaidh. LawShortcut is run from Ireland and is not connected to any college, grind school or professional body.
How the material is checked
Every case name, citation and statutory reference on this site is checked against a verification ledger before it is published. The ledger records the citation that was read from the judgment or the report, any parallel citations, the court, and any citation that is known to be wrong so it can never be printed again. The build will not publish if a page carries a citation the ledger has settled the other way.
What this is not
These are study materials, not legal advice. Nothing here is a past examination paper or an examiner-authored answer. Where a practice question appears, it is an original LawShortcut question and is labelled as one.
